Privacy policy
What personal information Rowvio processes, why, and your rights. Your files are processed in your browser and never uploaded to us.
Effective 7 October 2026. Rowvio is operated by TaskMind-AI, South Africa ("we", "us"). We are the responsible party (POPIA) and controller (GDPR / UK GDPR) for the personal information described here.
The short version
- Your files stay on your device. Rowvio reads CSV, Excel, PDF and image files in your browser. File contents, extracted data and PDF passwords are never sent to our servers.
- We only receive what we need to run your account and credits: your Whop user ID, your membership and purchases, credit balance and a short history of tasks (counts, not content).
- Analytics only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Not collected by us: the files you open, the data inside them, values you edit, PDF passwords, templates and Rowflows (these stay in your browser's local storage on your device).
Services that process data for us
- Whop (accounts, payments, hosting of rowvio.whop.site, analytics pixel). Whop processes your account and payment data under its own privacy policy as the platform you buy through.
- Cloudflare (runs the website for Whop hosting): network and security logs.
- jsDelivr (content delivery network): when you read a scanned document, your browser downloads the open-source OCR language model from jsDelivr, which sees your IP address. No document content is sent.
Some of these providers are outside your country (for example in the United States). Where the law requires it, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Membership and credit records are kept while your membership is active and for as long as the law requires for financial records afterwards. Task history keeps only the last 30 tasks. Analytics data is kept by Whop according to its retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (South Africa, EU, UK, California, Canada, Australia and elsewhere), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict processing, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent (for analytics: use Cookie settings in the footer). We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To make a request, use the Support chat on our Whop store, whop.com/rowvio. We reply within 30 days (or sooner where the law requires). You can also complain to your data protection authority: in South Africa the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za), in the UK the ICO, in the EU your national supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and do not use sensitive personal information. The categories we process are listed in the table above.
South Africa: POPIA and PAIA
Our Information Officer is Derik Janse van Rensburg (Founder). Our PAIA manual, which explains how to request records we hold, is available on request through the same contact channel.
Security
Processing happens on your device, so your documents are not stored on servers we control. Access to our systems and API keys is restricted, connections use HTTPS, and we keep the information we hold to the minimum above.
Children
Rowvio is a business tool for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process children's personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes, tell members through Whop.
